Oh my God. It seems like this situation is becoming more real. That's terrifying. That's 28% dead, 57% casualties. Do you think if there are more attempted terrorist attacks, people will start freaking out again and building bomb shelters again and stuff?

Wow! That is crazy!! And scary to think about!!

The bomb is already scary but when you add facts and name a real place it seem even more so. It is scary o think that this could possibly happen someday

Let's hope it NEVER happens one day.
Rimma,
I don't think people will start building bomb shelters like they did at the height of the Cold War. Unlike the threat of nuclear war from the Soviets, terrorists could detonate fissionable material anywhere at any time.
That brings up the possibility of a dirty bomb.

That is insane. I would hope that never happens.

This is so crazy! It makes you want to be more aware of foreign affairs.

Whoa. That is why I am never going to live in a highly populated area.:) Then again, those blast waves sure span far...

My interview with Hochi Kurisu for my oral history project left me with a respectful and sober sense of the horrors of a nuclear event. It must never happen.
