Opinion on Discussion- Its seems this period (1) believed that torturing a few(maybe terrorists and aliens) for the majority was acceptable but that inconveniencing a few(profiled people)for majority was not, although it would seem that inconveniencing a few would make the torturing situation less likely. So I say give up some personal rights, if one believes in imposing torture on someone it should be OK to impose a few privacy violations. Also, the "strong" argument that if we give up some rights all of them go, could be said for granting torture, if we let the gov. do that to aliens couldn't the gov. then increase that allowance to include citizens? Thus I say that argument is irrelevant.
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

Madison,
I don't have my book with me to tell you exactly where you stop. You should definitely know about all of Jefferson's presidency by page 234.
