Weekend Update

I hope everyone is staying warm this weekend. It's the perfect weekend to curl up by the fire with your history reader and read about Northern reactions to the harsh Fugitive Slave Act passed as part of the Compromise of 1850. Yeah!


Anywho, tomorrow we will discuss this weekend's reading, watch a video clip, and then head to the computer lab to finish up your IA!! The rest of week will feature your political cartoons, notes on the McPherson readings, the final viewing of Roots, and we end the week with a graded discussion on John Brown's murderous actions in the Kanas Territory in 1856.  


First period, I sincerely hope you got some sleep this weekend. I fear you may end up like this:
