Holocaust--The Everlasting Shame of Mankind-

As always, your thoughtful comments/reactions are welcome.

Below is a short documentary about a Survivor who missed his Bar Mitzvah because he was a prisoner at Auschwitz.

If you've never seen Schindler's List, you should.

Another gut wrenching and moving film about the Holocaust is The Pianist. I highly recommend it.

It's so amazing to hear accounts like that. We once had a holocaust speaker in middle school and it was an incredible experience, but no one should have to endure such things,

Will have to try to watch those movies soon.
Thanks.

Wow, The Pianist looks really good! It's difficult to think that people had to go through horrible things like the Holocaust.

It's amazing to hear what these survivors went through. I've read Night by Elie Wiesel and heard accounts; we can't forget. It's absurd that some deny that the Holocaust happened.

Kelly,

The video clip I'm going to show you guys tomorrow is really powerful. One of the WWII vets comments about those who deny the Holocaust.

Wow that was very powerful, I hope that everyone can be educated about the cruelty of the holocaust. It was almost haunting him speaking about the numbness that he feels towards it.

This looks like a really good film. I will watch it soon. Reminded me of "Life Is Beautiful", a very sad movie i recommend.
