It's great to know that caffeine can boost your memory. Only with the tests today can we actually learn this stuff. The one question I have about this theory is whether the caffeine makes you more alert, which helps you retain information better, or does it actually help with memory after the feeling of alertness goes away

Wow that's pretty interesting! I didn't know that coffee could do anything besides help wake a person up. I don't drink coffee, but since it helps your memory maybe it would be beneficial to start drinking a cup of coffee to improve my memory.

I find this to be rather interesting because it's the first study to ever actually prove any correlation between memory strength and caffeine intake. However, this study only shows a relationship between the two within 24 hours of intake. It would be fascinating to perform a long-term study between hardcore caffeine drinkers and people who don't drink much caffeine, I think the results would be different if this study were to be performed.

So if I'm drinking soda in class I can just say it's to boost my memory and enhance my learning? Nice

It is crazy how even 24 hours later, the caffeine drinkers remembered the little details of the pictures they were memorizing! So caffeine and sleep...just what I need for an amazing memory!!!
