- Name: Mr. Carlisle
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

You are both too kind and you both have something in common. You are incredibly studious and conscientious about your work. I really enjoyed having you both. I predict great things for you beyond the walls of Tigard High School.

is IB Psych basically the same stuff we just covered..or is it different?

Hey Mr. Carlisle,
Just wanted to say 'thanks' for both a great semester and a load of fun. I learned alot about history, AND humility (no frowny faces, pouting, etc.)
Anyway, you have a good 2nd-okay? And don't let any of the others turn you into a push over!

Amy,
IB Psych IS NOT the same class at all. However, there are some overlap with some of the topics we covered, but it is a different animal. Since it is designated an IB course, the curriculum is more rigorous and demanding than my class. More is expected of you and the reading and writing load is much heavier.
The class also meets M-F for the entire semester. If you want to learn more from a great teacher and you're up to the challenge, take IB Psych with Caro next year.
