Ok, something that's been on my mind since this morning's discussion:
The reading you gave us listed that a just war's ultimate goal is to re-establish peace. I was thinking how incredibly ironic it was that Nixon would speak about creating an end to the war, or withdraw with "honor", but the next day run some secret bombing campaigns and invade Laos and Cambodia. How can you make peace if you're just spreading the violence? That's another huge reason I don't believe it could've been a just war.
