I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

If they used someone other than Tom Cruise I might like it better.

why do the Nazis talk like Americans?
They talk like that because the movie was made in America. Also everyone must see the movie "Lions for lambs". It is the best movie I have seen for five years. Carlisle this is a movie that make you think about what you know and hear.
My personal opinion and DONT call me a politician; is that the wars in Iraq and Afganistan was nececary.
I also beilieve that Iraq should have been fifth on the list of countries we need to stop.
List in order of heightest to lowest threats to Western Beliefs.
List
1)Kuwait
2)Iran
3)Saudi Arabia
4)Bahrain
5)Iraq
Afganistan was a different altercation altogather. We are in their to stop the Taliban from regaining control and supporting Al Quida.
Also NEVER trust the "Wind sock MEDIA" complaing about removeing or troops from Iraq. THEY NO NOTHING ABOUT THE WAR. IT takes time to establish a new GOV'T. Did our govenment rise over night. NO it did not. We had flaws. The Articals of Confederation is one flaw. That was thrown out for the Constitution. Which might I add took a few years to come into play scince the gov't was established.
If we leave Iraq and Afganistan now what will happen in a few years is what I FEAR. We would have to go up against a shattered Iraq, the terrorist supporting taliban government in Afganistan and a nuclear Iran. HOW MANY TROOPS WOULD WE NEED THEN???
War is not fun and it never will be. Get used to it in the next few years. Get used to it my friend. This threat from the terrorists and rogue State(Countries)is prevalent and growing. IT IS NOT GOING AWAY ANY TIME SOON.
