I can't believe that first vid was a Scientology ad..wow it's kind of ironic that the church of Scientology is trying to promote trust and peace..

oh, and 'where's the beef?' LOL indeed

Wow... Some major ham from these ads... It's amazing how when a company exaggerates about a product like this, it works to sell it! ( I couldn't believe that 'Where's the Beef' commercial was so succesful.. It seems like an ad people would laugh about for a while, but forget about soon after.
Carlisle- Have you seen any of the Skittles ads coming out lately?

Was the Scientology commercial an appeal to self-esteem? Although they didn't directly give a quote such as "people who want peace join the church" it still gave that message.

HAHAHA, they had good commercials back then in the 80's.

The first one and last one, I am confused on the emotional appeals.

I was thinking the last one is Associations but I can't grasp it..?

The commercial about scientology really didnt make sense to me at all. It seemed really random
