I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

I heard that on the news recently. I think it was really stupid. What a waste of money for whoever had to go buy all the condoms. And what a waste of paper and postage! I don't think senior pranks should get the parents involved. Stuuuupid prank.

That sucks, no prom. Well It was funny and will go down in the history of one of the best /worst senior pranks at Lincoln...nothing ever cool happens at tigard.. haha

I'm with Charlotte on this. It was just plain stupid. And what the school said the students punishment was going to be is just plain dumb. Suspension isn't a punishment, its a vacation, and detention has no point, you sit quietly in a room for an hour and do homework.

I'm ALL for it! Hahaha, just because everyone seems to be against it. Honestly, they obviously put a lot of hard work into something. If they aren't going to do their homework because of senioritis, at least they grouped together to form something productive. And they got everyone involved, too.. how considerate ;) I don't think people should get TOO upset. I do understand that parents would be in an uproar, but come onnnnn, it's a prannnnk!--Laugh about it. Parents should have enough common sense that they would know it was just a silly prank and not get heated over it..

All in all, they could have pulled something better and considered other peoples reactions.. but seniors are not really thinking of consequences, just give them a break.. they're invincible ;)

lol my gosh i dont understand why they are upset about the prank...its not really that bad. no one got hurt and no school properties got destroyed right?

I definitely agree with Michelle. If you've seen the show High School Stories or whatever it's called, you know that there are some really bad pranks, like forking the school landscape. There was no damage done with this prank so people really need to get over it. And it was original too so it made it better.

Yeah I guess it's not that bad. It just wasn't a good idea to get the parents directly involved like that though.

Oh my god! That was great! I think it was a pretty good prank. It brought ultimate attention to the high school. And the parents need to chill. It's not like some of their kids aren't already having sex. They ain't sweet little angels no mo'. Anyways it's stupid that everyone is so upset. Get a sense of humor already. And the news is dumb for paying so much attention to such a thing. Really now, do they have nothing better to give on the news than this? The media has fallen a loooong way. It's a better prank than any Tigard high pranks where you have to ask for the administration's approval. It ruins the whole point of a prank. Lame.
