About Me
- Name: Mr. Carlisle
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

Kind of a weird group of people. I see what you mean when you said that Malcolm X had a lot of power. To control so many people and their lives like that must have taken a lot of power.
I wonder if these guys are still active today?

I like the way the Nation of Islam thought. Love, peace and equality is the way to go. But i feel that they put too much power in one mans hands such as Malcolm X. Like you said how a mob of African Americans surrounded a police station and refused to move until Malcolm X told them to leave with a wave of the hand.
