I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

Uhh... Carlisle... you're trying to trick us, aren't you?
Anyways, just in the past few hours, former Presidential Candidate John Edwards announced that he was endorsing Barack Obama. While he is not a superdelegate, his message of helping the little guy and fighting poverty might resonate well with poor, blue-collar whites. A group that Obama has been struggling to appeal to. Edwards also has 19 delegates still pledged to him. While they are free to vote for whomever they choose at the Convention, those 19 delegates are very loyal to Edwards and most likely will all vote for Obama.
