Holy cow!!!! How could they keep beating him when we wasn't even moving, because obviously he wasn't trying to resist arrest at that point!!! And what was with the car that pulled up at the end, was the an innocent bystander who witnessed part of the severe beating who could have testified!? That is soo insane though, WOW. I wonder how George Holliday happened to be there...with a camera...at that moment. Bizarre!!
Geez... why would the police beat a man who's already down? he obviously was no longer a threat considering how he was just lying there. I can't believe this happened in my lifetime. That's scary.
And for the truck driver...why didn't he lock the doors?
Humanity isn't so humane. Sinister hateful actions like these happen everyday, everywhere... Weather by nature or nurture, humans seem inclined to instill hate, death, pain, sorrow, and suffering within the lives of themselves and others. The ruthlessness of a person shouldn't be a surprise, it's just what happens, even if it shouldn't. Stuff like this is never over, not in anyone's lifetime, such things have occurred throughout history. Sure maybe it isn't some cops unjustly beating a man, but for as long as there are people, there will be all of the horrid adjectives I used above. So don't be so surprised, and maybe, don't be so appalled. Sure ain't right, but it sure never ceases either... It's all part of the human condition...
Anyone who is gonna mess up you in an animalistic rage wouldn't hesitate to break your windows to get to you, hahahaha.
wow, it's kinda sad just watching them beat up the guy hit by hit. they kept going and going, even when he wasnt moving. it was almost like hitting a doll or something.
I mean i still don't see where someone could find it in themselves to continue to beat someone horifically like that. it makes sesnse at the beginnin, i mean when i run after my little brother outside or something and he tries to get away, i kick him or hit him or something. hahaha, but the second he even cries or anything i stop yet these guys just kept going on and on, my god!! but i also do agree with kyle. it's pretty unavoidable and we will always see some sort of brutal violence.
Nizar, the reason you stop when your brother cries is because you have a sense of compassion for him. Kyle's right, those policeman had no motive (in their mind) to show any mercy or leniency to this person because it's in human nature to be brutal. Hate crimes aren't going away, they've existed forever, and as much as I would like to see them end, they won't. It's why peaceful cooperation between humans can unfortunately never be achieved; the human race as a whole cannot fully eliminate bigotry, racism, and violent tendencies. To quote Kurt Vonnegut, "so it goes".

I'm surprised that this beating didn't kill him! He was taking a lot of hits to the head, it looked like.
