Another big thing from the 1980s was when Coke came out with New Coke. I can personally attest that it was awful.

I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. Is this the one that was supposed to taste exactly like Pepsi but was just sweeter? Soda schemes are always the best. like crystal pepsi. That was probably before my time but vh1 has taught me about these events.
