Hope the ACT was super fun! Tomorrow, there will be a grade reckoning, I mean, I'm giving back the Unit 10 exam. In the mean time, please take note of the following information:

1. Don't show up to prom on Saturday wearing a dress that resembles an incredibly divisive symbol from American history.

2. Don't show up to prom tipsy from drinking... Well, just see for yourself. Gross

You're welcome.

I don't understand why they are making such ugly designed dresses in the first place.

It's curious that the Confederate flag has become such a pop culture symbol for southern pride. It makes you wonder if the symbol carries the same negative weight that it used to if its users don't share the racist views of their predecessors; after all, nobody was intentionally trying to offend anyone else. Wonder what would happen if someone wore a dress in Germany with a swastika on it...? As for the hand sanitizer, time for public humiliation anybody?

How would anyone be desperate enough to try and get drunk off hand sanitizer. Is ethyl alcohol even potable? I know rubbing alcohol isn't. Maybe rubbing alcohol will become the next trend.

Those kids drinking hand sanitizer clearly didn't take chemistry with Mr. Massey! He would have told them the dangers of drinking various alcohols in IB Chem. 1!

Okay, hand sanitizer cannot possibly be pleasing to the taste buds! Crazy what some stupid kids will do to get drunk. Fools! As for Ms. Confederate flag girl, I don't see why she didn't just go home and change. This whole "Southern Pride" crap is just glamorizing a terrible past for the south and she should have just listened to the teacher who told her that the dress was a bad idea.

Yes, hand sanitizer is potable. The reason why rubbing alcohol isn't is because manufacturers purposefully poison it so that no one tries to get drunk off of it. So there is no chance of a trend of getting drunk off of rubbing alcohol.
It's interesting how Southern Pride had transformed over the years. It's still hard for me to tell between teenagers following a trend and people who are actually promoting a free South.

Kids these days. They find all kinds of crazy ways to beat the system. Salt and Hand Sanitizer, Ingenious! Way to go, kiddo! You're reward for thinking up that combo: A terrible night and a worse morning. Why do people do drugs when they can just dance? Poor children. . .

Hand sanitizer? Honestly? That's worse than the lady we watched in psych who got drunk off of mouthwash. Humanity... amazes me.

Regarding the hand sanitizer, it's interesting how some teenagers apply their intellect. There are some really smart idiots out there.

Either those teenagers were really desperate to get drunk or aren't the sharpest tool in the shed. As for flag girl, I think the Confederate flag has become a symbol for "Southern Pride" and people forget why a second flag was made.

Whoever came up with the salt and hand sanitizer concoction should get an award for Most Disgusting Non-Virgin Mixed Drink. And four for you, whoever posted instructions online! You go!
