Students, my apologies for not being in class on Friday. That was my first real sick day since Nora was born over three years ago.

Ok so Hellhounds is now the grossest thing that I have ever read! I don't understand any of the rationale behind the whites and the lynchings. That was a messed up time in our history...

His first 'Real' sick day. That doesn't count all the times he leaves class to go to amusement parks. Because, you know, that is the kind of thing Carlisle does with his free time.
