I agree with Julia, this would be a killer field trip. Honestly though, it has Benedict Cumberbatch in it *swoons* so no matter what I will be seeing it when it comes out.

Because Carlisle is the coolest teacher ever, he could pull a couple strings for his favorite, best, and most loving class, of course period 4. Lol

I agree as well, that would be one heck of a field trip. This looks like a pretty great movie and however Hollywood may skew the story, I'm sure it will be more accurate than most *cough* Django Unchained *cough*.

Django was never meant to be an accurate portrayal about the plight of slaves.

This movie seems like it's either going to be fantastic, and this generation's Shindler's List, or absolutely horrible, and another Patriot, with no room in between.

I'm really excited for this film. It is among my most anticipated for the rest of the year along with The Wolf of Wall Street,Gravity, and The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete. This film won the top prize at TIFF this year which all but guarantees it a Best Picture nomination. It'll be nice to something good after nearly everything this summer was bad. I'm looking at you Iron Man 3.

I agree! This looks like it will be a really sad, but good movie! I also really like how the movie is being portrayed through the eyes of the man that was sold into slavery.

This looks like it is going to be a really good movie!!! It makes me wonder how often free slaves were still forced into slavery.
