I agree with Julia, this would be a killer field trip. Honestly though, it has Benedict Cumberbatch in it *swoons* so no matter what I will be seeing it when it comes out.

Looks very good!

Because Carlisle is the coolest teacher ever, he could pull a couple strings for his favorite, best, and most loving class, of course period 4. Lol
5:45 PM
I agree as well, that would be one heck of a field trip. This looks like a pretty great movie and however Hollywood may skew the story, I'm sure it will be more accurate than most *cough* Django Unchained *cough*.
5:46 PM
Django was never meant to be an accurate portrayal about the plight of slaves.
5:47 PM
This looks so good! If we don't watch together, I'm going for it myself..

The Movie actually looks really good, but we'll see if Hollywood manages to screw up another story.

It looks good! We should watch it as a class!
7:11 PM
I woud definitely consider meeting students to see this film.
7:13 PM
This movie looks pretty legit. Probably in the running for Best Picture
7:16 PM
This movie seems like it's either going to be fantastic, and this generation's Shindler's List, or absolutely horrible, and another Patriot, with no room in between.
7:20 PM
This looks so good!
8:25 PM
Can't wait to see this movie!! Hope we can watch it together as a class
9:46 PM
This movie does look good! I definitely think we should go and see it as a class! (Or at least for extra credit!)
10:19 PM
This movie looks so good! I think extra credit sounds like a great idea! :)
10:52 PM
Dang I can't really think of something that hasn't been said, oh well. EXTRA CREDIT, LOOKS GOOD, CARLISLE'S COOL
11:17 PM
I'm really excited for this film. It is among my most anticipated for the rest of the year along with The Wolf of Wall Street,Gravity, and The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete. This film won the top prize at TIFF this year which all but guarantees it a Best Picture nomination. It'll be nice to something good after nearly everything this summer was bad. I'm looking at you Iron Man 3.

Dylan,
We need to discuss cinema at some point, I want to hear about your all-time favorite films.
6:00 PM
I agree! This looks like it will be a really sad, but good movie! I also really like how the movie is being portrayed through the eyes of the man that was sold into slavery.
6:27 PM
This looks like a great movie and I cannot wait to watch it!
6:38 PM
This looks like it is going to be a really good movie!!! It makes me wonder how often free slaves were still forced into slavery.
6:55 PM
Oh man that does look really good! I can't wait to see it for myself! Time to organize a small class get together! :D
7:07 AM
