I always thought the Romeo and Juliet movie [with Leonardo Dicaprio] was funny, but now that I've watched the Kip Kinkel video, I'm kindof freaked out! =(
I think you should show Mr. Dessert and other english teachers this video to make them reconsider showing the Romeo and Juliet movie with Leonardo Dicaprio.
..Anyway, have a nice weekend!

Hi Mr. Carlisle,
Ok, so I admit that I was pretty erm, shocked when we watched that movie today. I really have never heard of Kip till you mentioned him in class but after the creepiness passed over and I had time to think, it really was quite intriguing. I'm not saying everything that happened was great and awesome, but it really seemed like a planned out horror life.

Hello Carlisle,
I really enjoyed the Kip Kinkel video today. It was interesting. After I left class I was really paranoid and wanted to leave school as soon as I could. Ha I know I'm crazy. Have a good weekend and I'll see you Tuesday.

Vickie,

Romeo and Juliet did not make Kip Kinkel his parents and two students at Thurston High School. He had a distinct history of mental illness and family problems that prompted those murders.

Christa,

Statistcally you have a better chance getting killed in your car than you do dying in a school shooting. However, it still creeps me out too.

Tiffany,

I hope we can all learn something from this video about the warning signals from mentally disturbed individuals to take action against them before they hurt themselves or others.

Hey, Carlisle!
The Kip Kinkel video was really creepy. I can't believe Kip's father kept getting him guns, even though he knew Kip was depressed. And, he let him keep some of them in his room! That's just crazy. I think the video said he had 7 of them! Even his psychologist talked about guns with him. I thought that was a little strange. Anyway, have a good weekend! See you Wednesday!
