I was thinking about Internal Assessment topics, and I think I might want to do something about Canadian history. All we've really talked about is a little colonization there, but I'm not very interested in that. Could you suggest some important Canadian events that I can look into? I figured I should tell you that I won't be in class today. I've been sick for the past couple days and thought I'd be better by today but I'm actually worse.

I showed the documentary Jonestown to the class. I would do some Internet research on Jim Jones and Jonestown. Information from the film will be on your first exam.

You will find out on the day of the test. You have to be prepared to answer any one of the three essays. However, one class will definitely get the essay question on the approaches and alcoholism. Good luck with your preparations.
