About Me
- Name: Mr. Carlisle
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

I watched the video of the UF student getting arrested and tasered, and I think they did it because he was asking more than one question when you're only supposed to ask one and he was going on a rant more than asking a question. Hearing him getting tasered was kinda scary!

Mr. Carlisle, would you be upset if I sent you an essay for each of the 3 questions we received to study for a while ago? Since there are no more "appointment times" that I can come and talk to you about it, can I just send my essays to you and you can read over them and send me back an email with what I need to work on? I'll probably send them on Saturday if that's alright with you. I'll check the blog later to see what's going on. Thanks!

I would rather meet with you in person. Can you come in before school tomorrow? I'm sure no one would mind if you join them on their appointment time. If you can't do this, you can e-mail me your essays.
