Thats an interesting test, but i wonder how accurate that really is since its so impersonal...maybe its not that some one has a bias, but they aren't coordinated enough to keep up with the switching sides?

It's an odd test. I got my fingers and reactions into a groove until they switched it on me, which totally screwed me up. >.<

For percentages check Joe's Answer. or anyones answer for that matter. as for that test... i don't understand the logic behind it. i think its comparable to pong in all honesty. I just like how its our subconcious being test... sounds like fodder for nurture vs nature

I got the same results as everyone else 48% strong pref. white.

I think I disagree with this test because when the test starts messing it up (associating black with Good after black with bad). I had my mind "trained" on automatically choosing bad for black on the last part which caused a lot of errors. Yay coordination!

I wish they had a similar test but instead associate White with Bad words at the beginning then switching it up with associating white with good words. I'd like to see how my results would come out on that test.

According to the test, I have a moderate preference to European Whites, though personally I think I treat both races rather fairly, at least I hope I do!
Interesting test--you've gotta know what you're doing so you don't make a mistake!

Analysis: According to the test i prefer people of my race over other races. i wouldn't say that was completely true, because i know that i would never dislike someone because they are not of my race. Although i do connect to people of my race faster. So may be the test has some truth.

My test results were not suprising, considering that everone else got pretty much the same score,(48%.)I wonder if the people who created this test had a preference for one race or the other when they were creating it.I dont agree with this test at all, its how you treat people that really shows, not how coordinated your fingers are on the keyboard. To me, the test was dumb and its been way overhyped. It was on every talk show from Oprah to Tyra, with the guests on acting all mellodramtic and shocked over their test results.

wait, so i prefer African Americans slightly more than European Americans? I guess that makes sense bacause i feel like "white" people are "bad" because they do most of the discriminating in our country. And I am not for that kinda stuff.

"Your data suggest little to no automatic preference between European American and African American."

I found it very interesting that so many people say that they have no racial bias, but nearly 2/3 of the test-takers had at least a moderate preference to white people. Some of it might be caused by when the categories switched positions on the test, since it was kind of tricky to push the correct button.

This sucks. I went into this test thinking I didn't have any preference towards either race, but then I screwed up the keys after they switched them. I agree with Joe...what if someone isn't coordinated to switch sides? I'd get used to one side, then want to continue that after switching. I really believe this isn't a great way to distinguish preference.
