Gore and Bush Debate from 2000

Fast forward to the 1:14 mark to see Gore invade Bush's space. Gore comes off looking like a jerk here. His message becames obsolete after his close encounter with then Governor Bush.

If you listen to what Gore says at the end he was right, and we got exactly what we deserved... and so much more...

What a pity... Oh what could have been/not have been...

i can see it, after bush does his gangster nod....here comes howard dean: YEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

i wonder what would have happened if gore won.......

my honest opinion, i hate it when anybody in the government/politicians say that they represent the people and help the middle class or whatever, what do they know, they're filthy rich.....they dont know what its like to work hard for every penny, just to end up buying cheap can soup for dinner and paying tons of bs bills like; heating, electric, water, cable, internet, insurance, medicine, myspace....hate it when politicians say bs like that

why can't we have somebody run for presidency that knows what its like to be a "middle class, or poor" citizen.....howard dean: YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

John Lee, i totally agree with you =] and your asain thoughts =] haha just kidding, but i do agree. the "for the people" crap isn't cutting it in my book

Haha, at least Gore was assertive and spoke it straight, Bush is just dodging questions with his loopy answers that really have nothing to do with the issue...

Because it takes big bucks to "buy" your way in... There is also a difference between someone with new money and old money... Are they self made? Have they known what hard work is to become as successful as they are? Or were they born into money, not knowing a crap about what it means to be a modest citizen... Sure they can try and empathize or relate, but it isn't the same, and it seems as though many have a deficiency in mirror neurons.

John, I really hope you don't pay for myspace...

JOHN EDWARDS FTW!

Hmmm... The next time a bully comes up to me like he wants something, I'll just nod to him. Apparently that wins everything. I really hate how people always talk about how bad Bush is. Get over it already. Oh haha it's so funny to always talk about how much longer he has in office! It's quite pathetic. Why don't you go read a book or something?
And I've decided that I just about hate the media. They gave a report on the news today about how it's not unsafe to drink while pregnant, but they weren't trying to advertise for alcohol. Why would they even bother putting the report in the news then? It was only like 2 minutes too, so it wasn't like they were trying to fill time. That report helps nobody.

I hate media too, but for more elaborate reasons than that...

How can I get over it, when the decisions him and his administration make directly effect the welfare of all American citizens as well as numerous groups of people around the world? It's no fickle matter.

The two terms part disgusts me, and it's why many people around the world shake their heads in disappointment at the foolish majority of America...

Read a book? On what? On the facts? Cause if I did any more of that, then I'd have an even larger plethora of reasons to be outraged...

Hey Carlisle I've got a question about the reading. If Moby Dick and The Scarlet Letter were all but hated by society when they were published, what happened with the books since then that made them so popular among people today? We could just talk about it in class or something tomorrow if you don't want to answer. Just take group time, I'm sure nobody will mind.

What does reading a book have to do with not liking bush? The only book Bush has ever read is "My Pet Goat".

That suffrage video is depressing.
Accessing information is easier than sneezing these days, but people would rather watch bisexual alcoholics date strangers.

Yes yes, we talk to a great extent. Much about the days of old, our mistakes and our success, reflecting on times gone by has given us a mutual understanding and insight into the ways of the world. Though I won't ruin the secret of life for you...

I just had to stop by and see this hyped blog myself, and it is indeed a grand marvel of the 21st century!

Hey Mr. Carlisle,

I got home from rehersal at about 9:15 and my dad just got off the computer. I've been wanting to take that test all afternoon! I'm gonna take it now and I think I'll probably email you my results.

Max that's exactly what I'm talking about. I never once talked about Bush reading (oh haha he can't read... Yea it's a way over played joke), I said that people would rather spend their time making fun of him than doing something that's actually useful. Thanks for the support.

Al Gore's abbreviation of ManBearPig, MBP, is an actual term used in the field of global warming research when describing the recession of glaciers, Mass Balance Potential.
