Carlisle I think I have the wrong packet for the reading... I grabbed the one off of my desk and it only goes to page 116...
7:08 PM
Hey Carlisle, is it cool if I email my part B to you tonight? Or would you like it first thing in the morning? I have to stop by Bushman's room any way, I'll be in the area.
7:18 PM
I have a question about the reading. I really didn't see how the Kansas-Nebraska act broke up the Whig party. And why the house house actually voted to aprove it.
7:37 PM
hey for the oral history project does it have to be someone from the veitnam or WWII can it be about a different part of history? like the depression?? and is there any way i could get like a brief explaination because i will be spending a week with my grannie in hawaii and she has crazy stories about the depression.
7:51 PM
nevermind, talked to my mom and she said that it was actually WWII stories i remember. i got some of the pictures that my g-pa took, and some that he did not take, aparrently he was not it japan/southpacific, a friend was.

Haley,
Talk to your grandma.
Chris,
Bummer.
Thomas,
Will put the link up by tomorrow
Shole,
The issue essentially destroyed the Whig party. They were divided internally over slavery and the Compromise of 1850. Southern Whigs were who staunchly pro-slavery migrated towards the Democratic Party, which shared their beliefs on slavery.
The Kan-Neb. Act was approved b/c Stephen Douglas proposed the construction of a trans-contintental RR from Chicago, IL to the West Coast. Southern members of Congress supported this more northern route in exchange for popular sovereignty in those territories.
8:24 PM
Bastogne is the episode that has the most medic type stuff, it's mostly centered around Eugene Roe, Easy Company's medic.
8:30 PM
Thanks for the head's up Kyle. I am planning on watching all of the episodes again since the TV writers aren't coming back to work any time soon.
8:37 PM
i think some one needs to get unis to join in on this fun!
8:44 PM
What! You care more about Chris, and his lack of homework, then the IA!!
(btw, my great, great, (great?), grandfather, served in the Spanish-American War, and lived to be 108!(and cussed out a cop at 102)
8:46 PM

I always found that clip interesting, just goes to show, the man your fighting can be no different than yourself. All these guy, with no personal conflicts with the other side. All just men, fighting for what they believe in... Under different circumstances they could have been good friends... Quite a pity, the whole thing...
Oh, and about Lt. Spears killing those prisoners... I dunno if that really happened, do you?
