About Me
- Name: Mr. Carlisle
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

I only have about 10 left to grade in second period and they did a bang up good job. Lots of As. Haven't even touched your class yet. I am expecting good things though.

I hate to ruin this for future generations, but Carlisle, did you know you have a Homesteade poster like 3 ft from my desk? Of course I didn't realize this until I finished.

Yes, I am aware that there's a poster about the Homestead Strike near your desk. You're not giving away some great secret. I like it when students use their surroundings to their advantage. If you look closely I'm sure you will see other posters that can help you on future exams.

Uh, Chris, there's a HUGE difference between slipping in a piece of paper with essay outlines and notes and looking at posters THAT I PUT UP IN MY ROOM. I don't consider the latter cheating.

Fear not my humble friend. The tests came up Aces! Lots of As and Bs. I need to re-read another test that I left at school in order to re-evaluate the score I gave on this person's essay. There's a very distinct possibility that no one will make less than a B on this exam. At least the people who were present in second period on Friday.

Yes. I did. I guess since I've been doing not great on the reading quizzes I'm just hoping for a high B or A on the test.
