This is a great documentary about the conflict between workers and management.

that last part was pretty interesting.....do you have the movie mr. carlisle? it would be pretty cool if we got to watch that in class.....its amazing how much effort the workers put in to get better working conditions...but i thought that belt thingy the guys were riding on seemed pretty fun to be on....its a good thing that now strikes are not too violent....

Charlotte,

She's coming on Wednesday for the entire period.

John,

I don't own it, but if we had time I would show it. It's really good.

Andrea K.,

Yes.

this is weird.
the movie seems like its setting is around the 1950's to 60's.
because of the way the people dress.
people in the industrial era didn't dress up like that did they?

This would be a great movie to watch sometime. I'm sure my dad would love to see it. By the way Mr. Carlisle, would you be interested in learning more about the ILWU (International Longshoremen and Warehousing Union)? You seemed interested in it today.
