About Me

I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

the story about shoeless joe is kind of confusing....so shoeless joe and others lost the championship game because they gambled? and thats why they were in court?
that site has some interesting stuff but some of it is a boring read....
gambling is bad and i believe that drinking should be outlawed so that the roads will be much safer and so that we dont have to watch celebrities in rehab...i hate drunk drivers....

Why couldn't the economy recover by itself without govt intervention as Hoover and so many other free market advocates say it should? It seems like this debate is still going on today.
