wow thats crazy.

I can't believe that people actully lived down there and that the whole thing was built with hand tools and that it was several stories deep. Im so clausterphobic i could never even go down there for any amount of time, ever.

And when the guy said how hot it was-ugh. that must have been miserable

it's amazing that people could even live like that

Seems like the Vietnamese were masters at Guerrilla warfare. No wonder why the American soldiers grew tired of the war and were constantly on edge. Even when American soldiers knew where the tunnels were it seemed to dangerous to even enter into the tunnels since there were traps and bombs everywhere.

"it amazing how smart these people were." - max

People build freakin giant triangles of stone in the desert and you're shocked that they can dig an underground fortress?
I agree with Sarah and Michelle: claustrophobia!
Imagine if those decided to cave during a bombing...

Carlisle! Where are you! The sub wasn't that great...

First, he spent the nearly first half of class talking about Vietnam, most of it stuff we had already learned, the rest stuff that wasn't relevant to anything. Then he went over the note for like 10 minutes.

Then before he played the video he said "Be careful of Bias" then started saying stuff like "those hippies were jobless bums, and their music was horrible".

Overall, if you're not here on Tuesday, I'm going to your house.

Those tunnels are crazy! They were like little squirels. i would have hated fighting them because it would be so hard to know where they were at all times
