The essay for the DBQ will require you to pick a side regarding the effectiveness of the New Deal. Make sure you are ready to argue both sides of the issue. You must use three documents and put forth three points defending your position.
Negative. You will be asked to either defend the New Deal or attack the New Deal's effectiveness. Be prepared to argue both points. However, it should have been painfully obvious from the documents which side you will be asked to discuss.
So are we turning in a copy of our OHP on the 7th or when we actually present? and are we reading from it or is it ok if we loosely stay to the format? And i have a bunch of pictures and stuff that i think would be cool to show, how can i do that?
Everyone is turning their OHP this Thursday. I don't want anyone reading their OHP to the class. You can just tell us about the interview and what you learned. It's really easy and nothing to stress over. Just bring your stuff when you present. WWII people will present Thursday and Friday.
No reading this weekend. Just focus on your OHP and essay question for the DBQ. However, if you would like to read pp. 750-54, it will cut down on your reading Monday night.
