Hey carlisle! I sent you the audio file for my presentation tomorrow. Please test it out

Some of those posters were really creepy, especially that "Someone Talked!" one. I get that it's supposed to be like that, but still...
4:55 PM
I think the posters all very interesting. I still think the one where Hitler is sitting in the car next to you is kind of creepy. I thought the one about "Save waste fats for explosives, take them to year meat dealers," is funny and weird. I get that they did do that kind of stuff but I think it is a weird thing to do. I think the "He is watching you", and the "Someone talked!" are creepy propaganda with a message. Especially the one "He is watching you"... Creepy.

Do we have propaganda posters now? Or like...commercials? Not really... Why is that?
5:35 PM
I thought this was interesting. It does seem to be that the posters that cause direct emotions like fear or guilt are the most used and most effective.
"One study [by US government] found that symbolic or humorous posters attracted less attention, made a less favorable impression, and did not inspire enthusiasm".

The posters are pretty cool and interesting. Some are kind of creepy though.
Why don't we see posters like these anymore?
6:49 PM
In the stamp em out poster is the frog supposed to be the leader of italy?
6:55 PM
Fear is always the best motivator.

We do. See the following:
Be safe, respectful, and responsible.

These posters are wild. You don't see government made posters anymore because all that stuffs just on the TV now instead. Cats be watching that stuff and they don't even realize it.
7:52 PM
The "Be safe, respectful, and responsible" isn't as cool as these posters.
8:41 PM

Obviously.
Harbolt,
It would be nice if it did.

Those posters are really interesting. They do a very good job of evoking emotion from the person that is looking at them. I'm surprised how many different posters they had for propaganda back then.
We need more propaganda posters now-a-days just so i can get a good laugh every once in awhile.
