The one thing i don't understand is, why is he still holding his burger? did he just death grip it when he died? or was he wanting to keep it after he died.
Sure i think its a good message, but how is this supposed to make me a vegetarian? if anything it just makes me not want to eat at all, or just healthier. Fun fact of the day, the "Big Mac" is one of the healthiest things Mc Donalds has on its menu. even better than the salads if you put the dressing on it.

Yeah I agree with Nolan, why was he still holding it? And I don't think eating one burger is going to kill you and saying we have to completely cut all meat out of our diets is a little extreme.
4:33 PM
I think he was still holding the burger because that was the main part of the commercial. If he wasn't, it wouldn't make any sense. But yes this is a bit on the extreme side for sure.
4:56 PM
Haha this ad reminds me of Super Size Me. Whats up with everybody hating on McDonalds
4:58 PM
Nolan,
Unfortunately you are correct about the salads at Mickey D's. On a somewhat related note, I'm always a little shocked when I see students come in my classes with GIANT Frappacinos (sp?). Those things have a higher fat content than a Whopper.

I do not like the commercial. A person dieing because of eating a hamburger. I don't believe a hamburger is worth dieing for. I like the message that eating too much junk food will be bad for your health, but I still do not like the commercial.
5:19 PM
This is definitely an extreme commercial and I think I would understand/agree with it more if it were about the health consequences of processed or fatty, fast foods, not about being vegetarian.
5:39 PM
I think this could be a precursor to an increase in public effort to fight obesity.
8:14 PM
In a way it was unnessicary but I think the commercial made it's point,,, If you eat McDonalds (bad foos) frequently. However What you eat today affects you in the future.
9:16 PM
Is this commercial just about McDonalds? Because there is definitely more than one burger place that could potentially kill you.
9:26 PM
Maybe the people that did this commercial just don't like McDonalds? Cause Ivan's right, thare are a lot of other places just like micky Ds.
Example: Wendy's
4:47 PM
The people that made this commercial forget that eating unhealthy food like McDonalds is just one factor in being unhealthy. People who die from issues that come from being overweight usuaully have matching lifestyles. For instance, hardley ever doing any type of excercise.
7:49 PM
Someones targeting fat people and putting Mcdoubles in their hands to frame the restaurant
8:04 PM
that was dumb, makes me want some mcdonalds. the commercial didnt really work
