I totally agree with Kendra. that is super tight how the brain works. i think it's kind of a sad story, but it's cool how she can still do things, and how her brain rewired it's self
i knew the brain had a lot of placicity (not sure if i spelt that right) but what gets me on this video is they did a lot of test on her but they didnt give her an MRI or whatever until she was 27???? that seems ridiculous to me
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

Wow! THe brain is an amazing thing. This seems to reinforce my belief that the brain can overcome any physical obstacle...mind over matter
