I liked how you tried to figure out who wants to really take this class and not. And the examples of the behaviours seemed quite real.
Will it be okay if I write comments with my account or do we have to do it with name and initial all the time? For now I'll do this.

Adding to the graded discussion, I believe all imigrants should be able to live in the United States whether they are citizens or not. This is because no one can define why one person should be givin the chance in the US and another should not. No one can define what a good person or a bad person is. No one in the US is better then a person who does not live in the US. We are all equal as human beings on this planet earth.

I believe one should be able to live some where of their choice without having to go through an immigrating process. That would be like asking the government if you could live where you live? Should the government have that power?

To all those people who believe that people who are bad people or have a criminal record should not be allowed into the US. There are already a lot of people in the US who are "bad people" and have a criminal record. If we are throwing out the people who are immigrating with criminal records we should throw out the people who are US citizens with criminal records becuase they are defined as "bad people". Don't the people with criminal records deserve to live in this world?

Great comment Isabella. Anyone else to want to weigh in on what she said?

I agree with you Isabella, because honestly the United States began as a bunch of immigrants looking for new opportunities. Why shouldn't modern day equivalents get the same opportunities?

At first I honestly didn't want this class and I hadn't even signed up for it, but after today, I know I'm going to love it and I'm staying for sure! Can I please, please, please be the person that you do the cognitive learning thing on? I want to see if you can actually do it and I know for a fact that I'd be the hardest one in the class to do it to. Also, si far I love your teaching style!

And for what Isabella said, I agree but I'm only commenting because it's my pet peeve when people use then instead of than. I can't stand it and she did it.

For the cognitive learning I am really excited. I can't really believe that it works. Maybe on some people with a not as critical thinking but not on persons who think a lot and have a strong mind. Skepticism is growing.

That's exactly WHY immigrants with criminal records should not be allowed in the US. We have enough criminals already, we don't need anymore. And if criminals want to come to America, they should be treated like criminals as in be put in jail for the crimes they committed in their country AND punished if they came to America illegally and do not take the steps to become legalized. They should not be treated any better than American criminals.

As a reply to Kayla, you realize that most of the people on Christopher Columbus' ship were criminals. Australia started off with prisoners that were sent there from Europe. I think that America is a free country and anyone should be allowed in no matter what. Our ancestors came here and were treated with great hospitality from the natives but still went off and killed them and enslaved them. At least the immigrants coming over now aren't trying to take over. We can't decide who has the right to be here and who doesn't. We all have the SAME rights no matter where we're from.
