Were all the police men racist who were beating up the blacks or were there some who actually had morals?

I think it must have been hard to be a police man in the south if one had to follow these racist orders if the police men themselves was not racist.

Great question Isabella. I can't really answer that. If a police officer didn't share the racist views of his fellow officers, he probably wouldn't be on the force.
