Ha I like how she says "they will kill capitalism for their 'special world'". Plus if your going to try to get people to vote for you don't threaten them with a gun.
Soooo cheesy. But she has impressive credentials. On the other hand, her "advanced studies" at Wharton are a little suspicious. Wharton is the world's best business school, but what does she mean by "advanced studies"? I think she's not really hitting the main issue about energy. She seems to take the issue as the EPA being the opponent. It's an easy way to rile up conservatives, but there's a better solution that would appeal to everyone.
To solve energy problems, the government should invest in alternative energy sources. Not just because it's less toxic to the environment (which means less cleanup costs), but because there is a huge alternative energy market emerging globally. Dominating this emerging market would give the US an economic edge over the BRICs. In the short-term, however, the government should approve Keystone XL and get rid of other moratoriums upon natural gas and oil sources. The US has one of the world's largest natural gas reserves. If we tapped into our domestic energy supplies, we would secure energy independence and lower energy costs for businesses and consumers. To mitigate and prevent environmental damage, that tiny, undermanned bureau that enforces oil & natural gas industry regulations must be well-funded and well-manned.
I wouldn't really classify George Bush as a redneck. He attended Yale or Harvard (can't remember exactly) and came from a wealthy family. Politically, he was actually not that conservative. Personally though, I think he was an okay president. He could've been a little smarter. However, I'd actually rank him better than President Obama. My family in China disagrees with me: they say that both Bush and Obama are both idiots.
Well, that was intense.... Looks like she doesn't need any bodyguards, just her hillbilly Southern-talking hubby to protect her pieces of plastic on wooden pegs. Nice. Gives you a really good idea of just who you're putting into the government. Nice job.
Hey Juliet.... I'm really curious what you consider to be a redneck. George Bush wasn't even born in the south...he was born in Connecticut. he was just the governor of texas. oh and Lyndon B. Johnson....born in texas Dwight D. Eisenhower.... born in texas My dad...probably one of the most conservative "rednecks" in Oregon...is on your school board.
From the epitome rednecks, this is the definition of a redneck: "The glorious absence of sophistication" -Jeff Foxworthy and I am pretty sure the EPA won't shut down energy just because it is trying to protect the environment. There is probably billions of dollars to be made in profit in the alternative energy market.
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

Well, this gal is awfully nice. My vote, however, lies with this guy(even if he is running for president instead of congress).

I felt like the music in this was way too epic to be put in a boring political ad.
