Essay #1:

• I expect an examination of the causes of U.S. military action against Spain and the causes of U.S. involvement in WWI. That should be apart of your comparative analysis. 
• Make sure you discuss how both wars affected the global position of the U.S. as well. 
• Historiography should be embedded throughout your essay. Don't include it in separate paragraph. Helpful documents for this essay would be all of the documents you received for the Wilson graded discussion.
