IB STUDENTS--FINDING SOURCES
Students,
As I stated in class today, you need to start accessing sources for your IA right now.
Places to start:
- amazon.com (look for some books in your topic)
- Multnomah County Library (you can get a card for FREE; you search the online catalog for books and place holds on what you find)
- Washington County Library (see MCL instructions)
- Google Books
- Google Scholar (great place for articles from scholarly journals)
- Internet History Sourcebook (great site for primary sources)
- American Memory from the Library of Congress
- Questia (great source for books and historical journals; use my login (mcarlisleths) and password (mcarlisle)
Once you find a good source or two, check your sources' bibliographies for more primary and secondary sources. If you need help, please let me know. I will be checking your sources in the coming weeks.
