In case you've forgotten, there has been much rebuilding at ground zero in NYC. Check out these photos and please share your comments/thoughts about 9/11. We'll discuss the events of September 11 tomorrow in class.

The memorial site of the twin towers is a great reminder of our past.
The new tower stands tall over the city, like a symbol of pride for standing back up after the attack,

I think its really cool how they are rebuilding something in memory of the 9/11 attack, and the museum is definitely a great addition. But I don't think I would feel that same greatness that other people felt when they saw the Twin Towers, I will for sure feel sadness. Knowing that something so terrible happened there is pretty haunting.

What comforts me is that in the end, the terrorists have not terrorized the population, no matter what horrific crimes they commit. We as fellow humans, just trying to stay alive, always stand strong together against this.

I really like the reflective pools and I am very interested to see what comes of the transportation hubs. The architecture is beautiful and I love the symmetry shown by picture 20. This project in its entirety, shows how we as a country didn't give up. We just have to move on and accept our past, and plan for the future

All of these are really beautiful. I and happy that we have turned a horrific event in history into a memorial to give others honor.

The photos are lovely. It's heartening to see that we are moving on but keeping the memory of the past.
