That was an irritating couple seconds, video games? I don't agree with him, how are video games a bigger problem? Video games aren't the ones going out in to public places and shooting real live people.

I disagree that video games significantly contribute to violent behavior. So what that every shooter has played video games? Almost every male teenager that isn't a mass murderer plays violent video games. Many video games do glorify violence and sex, and many people that play a lot of video games have social issues, but to use video games as a scapegoat? Enforce the laws we already have (sounds like something a lot of Republicans have said) and please go ahead with the universal background checks. Most of the time even private sellers do background checks when they can. Just get rid of the so-called "loophole" so the private sellers have to follow the same rules as the retailers. Three-quarters of the NRA support this! I'm open to reducing the limit on the size of magazines, but I am hesitant to support any assault-weapons ban that would likely be crushed anyway.

wow this seems ridiculous to me, this seems like a week way to take the attention away from guns. yes, it is true video games affect people so does everything else in the world. if people didnt have guns people wouldnt get shot. If people didnt have video games people would still be getting shot.

I have actually heard a pretty interesting theory that violent video games are a good thing because they act as a release for violent tensions that occur naturally within people. Meaning that without them some people would be more prone to violence than they otherwise would be. Seems like a stretch to me but it does make you think...

I think this senator is completely wrong..... Video games are violent, there is no question about that.. But, if video games are the reason for these mass shootings, are we then just going to look over the idea of people having AR-15's?
Guns don't kill people, people kill people-with guns.

Just curious, is there a correlation between the age of the person, and how they believe about gun control? Could it be a generational stereotype about the damage of video games?
