Good riddance. "White people like different music and dance than black people" yeah right. And what about those white people that like "black" music or vice versa?

I can't believe schools still do that in this day and age. That's absolutely ridiculous. If the superintendent thought it was an embarrassment why didn't he do anything beforehand to stop it?

The fact that this is still an issue within this day and age blows my mind. How is it that some members of society continue to not be able to see people beyond the pigment of their skin? I applaud the students of Wilcox County High School for taking the initiative to end the racial segregation and for achieving this "progress."

Good gracious. It makes me really uncomfortable that racially segregated proms even exist. Wow. In fact, segregated prom makes me even more uncomfortable then watching Channing Tatum and Jimmy Fallon dress up as teenage girls who say "Ew" a lot. Which is saying something.

I agree with Michelle, there should not be an article about it, and these students should not have had to create a group to get a single prom for all students. It's crazy to even think that this is still happening.
