I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

This is a cute and precious thing. I think that all people should think about the educational and creative aspects in present during the holidays because that means someone actually cares. I think this give perspective on how you view the media as well, you think that the media has some gender biases because you don't see girls building hard core things on tv usually. I like how the changed the norm, stating that there is a way of life other than what the world standardizes gender roles to be. This is interesting because we see media nowadays, we see the epitome of toys. They are rationally little boy toys, but this gives me a new look on toys in general.
Oh yes. It looks like a good present.

This video makes me think of your views on how the media creates traditional gender roles! This video was really cute, I wonder if I'd be more interested in engineering if I had had those toys as a kid.
