I think Jane Fonda deserves the criticism she got. My moms cousin's husband is in Iraq right now leaving a wife and a 3 and 5 year old at home who are hoping their dad and husband will return safely.

If I saw someone like Cindy Sheehan going over to Iraq to help the insurgents kill American soldiers because she disagreed with the war, I would be furious and let her know she can just stay in Iraq because we don't want her back. I understand that she is upset with the war and she has a legitimate reason to be. I don't think helping our enemy out is a good idea whether one agrees with the war or not.

I agree with Maxwell above. Even if you're opposed to the war to the point of activism, you shouldn't be aiding the enemy.

Does narintohn get participation points in psyche if she comments on history posts? O___O

Bernath,

Narintohn would get credit if a class called "psyche" existed. ;)

What she did was horrible, but hey, at least she eventually apologized. We all make mistakes, right? And during that time a LOT of people were involved in the protest movement. I think she took it a little too far, but at least she isn't still saying today all the things she said back then.
Maybe she was just looking for attention.
