We got our IA assignment in English recently as well, and I've noticed that once us "cermudgens" have a few days to acclamate to the idea of it, it seems a lot more managable. I think 2nd periods brain dead demeanor today was just the result of being a little overwhelmed, it's totally not you. By the time we choose our topics we'll all feel more on top of it.
