I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

I think it really intresting that other countries have different ways of insulting and their ways seem bizzare to us.

I love that video, I watched it over and over again. I cried laughing when I first saw that
Iraqi journalist throwing shoes at Bush. So many Secret Service men were on him so quickly.

Mr. Carlisle, if you were invisible for 24 hours what would you do?
I would rob a shoe store and throw shoes at bush instead of killing him. it shows more public humiliation.

Every time I hear someone say "awesome" and they're not staring at an erupting volcano or a tidal wave, I want to throw my shoes at them.

Uh, Wilson, I don't see the word "awesome" in any of the above comments. I think you're suffering from cabin fever. I believe the cure is more cowbell.

Haha burn. Wilson, you must be losing your mind, the word "awesome" appears nowhere in this blog thread except in this post, the one of carlisles, and the one of yours and all three of those posts were discussing the word awesome. Therefore the word "awesome" is used in the proper context.
