Psych students

Psychology students
Welcome to Psychology. I really want to increase the involvement of Psych students on the blog. From time to time I will have videos and links to readings and websites on the blog for you to examine. You can earn participation points by commenting on the blog.

Here's how to comment:
1. Click on comment.

2. You will see a large box for you to write your comment.

3. Once you have written your comment, click on "nickname". Type your first name with your class. For example, Bob--Class 4A or Bob--Class 4B.

4. Type in the scrambled letters for word verification (this prevents me from getting spam).

5. Hit enter and your comment should appear.

If you have any trouble with this, please let me know ASAP. My e-mail is mcarlisle@ttsd.k12.or.usI'm looking forward to a great semester. Good luck.

Oh, and I tried to get into Psych, Carlisle, but unfortunately I had the opportunity to get into IB Spanish 4 and I needed to take that.

Some people have trouble leaving a comment. How classic is this, only Psych student has a left a comment, however, my current IB student leaves a comment. Classic. No worries on not being able to take the class. Definitely take IB Psych.

Hey, Carlisle.

One question: Do you think that violent video games cause violence in the players? Or do you think that the people who actually do commit violent acts because of video games are already prone to that sort of thing and that video games just make the person's condition worse?

Will,

Great question. I'm not going to divulge my outlook on that topic until we arrive at cognitive learning. We will have a big class discussion about that topic.

Hello Carlisle. I am very exited for Psychology. On the subject of the women who had the octuplets. I would say that she may have a need to make herself feel younger through giving birth. Or she may suffer from post pardon depression and by being pregnant trys to restore that connection between her and her children.
