What is the unit after this focusing on?

Great question. We will examine the rise of Big Business, labor unions, the Transcontinental Railroad, and race relations at the turn of the century.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm looking foward to another semester of History. I think it will be my only fun class next semester too.

Hey I'm glad to hear that. Except the part about it being the only "fun class" you're taking. That's not good. The topics only get more interesting in my opinion as we progress forward. I have a really fun activity planned for organized labor.

I'm gonna have to agree with Joseph. Even though this will be my only fun class it doesn't matter because IB English is done... for now. YAAAAYY!!!

Can I still sit in front next semester? I might change seats...I might not. I haven't decided. Maybe if I switch to the other side of the room I can see what the other side of your face looks like.

Hey- Feb 21 Andrew Bird! I don't know if I'll still be able to go- the UO speech tourney got moved up one week (I heard) to 19-21 instead of 24-26.

Allegedly. I'll have to check w/ Bman to make sure. Hopefully it is a false alarm.

I want you to move. I'm ready for a fresh start in second period. You can still sit up front but not in the same place.

Will do.

Important question: Have you seen the movie 300?

Oh, and did Alex Hillbilly leave something for me in your classroom today by any chance?

I'm going to miss psychology so much! It was among one of my favorite classes. But I'm recommending to everyone I know. If you get a Dominic Zandi next semester, give him hell. He's always like "Katy stop psychoanalyzing me" and I'm just like "Sorry it's a habit." Hahaha but now I need to go study for history! Goodnight

I really want to take Psych with you, Carlisle, but I don't know what I can take in conjunction with it. :(

My counselor is being difficult.

BTW,
anyway I could get some speech CIMs for Honor School with some of the group presentations we do?

Narintohn,

Bummer!

Allie,

I'm sorry abouty your scheduling issues. As far as the CIM stuff goes, I've never been trained in giving those kind of grades.

Aww, Narintohn, you didn't get the magazine? Bummer.

I'm looking forward to another semester, too! Pretty excited for the 19th amendment to arrive, too. :D

And when you say "a really fun activity planned for organized labor", does it entail doing any household chores for you--such as painting your house or maintaining your yard?

Alex,

I gave Narintohn the Rolling Stone this morning. Honest. As far as the activity goes, it involves negotiation.

Ugh, I have to say Women's Rights is my least favourite subject in history.
