About Me
- Name: Mr. Carlisle
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

I took the test and here is my result:
"Your data suggest a moderate automatic preference for European American compared to African American."
I don't think this test is very telling though. I don't think like I'm prejudice and I don't want to be. I must have gone too fast on the test.

My Result:
"Your data suggest a slight automatic preference for African American compared to European American."
I don't know because I think i was trying to make the results what i wanted them to be...I could kind of see what the test was doing so I was trying to do it carefully to make it so I would be given the result of equal opinion on both races because that's what I consciously consider myself to have...This was a really cool test though, and I do think that it's pretty accurate for most who do it properly.

Result: Your data suggest little to no automatic preference betweenEuropean American and African American.
I don't necessarily think this is an accurate test because sometimes pictures of african americans would come in a series and same with the good/bad words and i would get used to pressing a specific button and then mess up or have to slow down to figure out which one to push.

This test is frustrating, but revealing. I didn't know that I did.
