I'm a native South Carolinian and I attained my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. I taught fourth grade for two years in the Mississippi Delta and two years at an alternative high school in Western North Carolina. I have been at Tigard High School since the fall of 2003, where I teach U.S. History and Psychology.

It's pretty crazy seeing how the blast radius continues to expand as you progress through the slides. It would be devastating to see that happen.

Ali,
I don't think another country is going to nuke the U.S., however, the big fear is that terrorists will try to get their hands on fissionable material and detonate a nuke in a major U.S. city.

Holy guacamole!! That's insane!!!!!!! Hopefully San Francisco will NEVER get hit by a nuclear bomb ... It would be such a horrible sight to see .. Then again, we'd die instantly.

Somehow i doubt that terrorists would be able to get more than a 500 kiloton nuclear bomb. That would be less than 1/3 of this scenario and even that would require a whole lot of people to be looking the wrong direction.

That's terrifying, and even a small dirty bomb hitting a densely populated business center will cripple the country.
