That's so sad and scary to think that life is just as cruel as back in World War 2. I don't understand why people don't do anything to fix this, no doubt that isn't the only camp in North Korea, and this really needs to stop. Americans have no problem helping out Syria or Libya which is great but if we're going to play the peace keepers and try to stop rulers who are running their country into the ground and killing people, then I think it's about time we do something with North Korea.

I agree that something should be done about this. Killing out whole families hasn't been done since Hitler according to the video. Why would people do so much to stop Hitler but not someone in North Korea who is using the same tactics on people who are supposed to be considered equal. The help that the US gives to countries confuses me and does not always seem just. I can't believe this has dragged on for so many years; it's so terrible to think people are so cruel. I had no idea people were still being "punished" for WWII.

Camille and Ali,
Foreign policy is rarely seen in black and white. Launching a full scale invasion of North Korea would be incredibly complex and have international ramifications for the United States. However, seeing the cruelty inflicted by the North Korean gov't upon its citizens makes me incredibly angry.

all I can say is wow... I Remember you told us about this earlier in the year. It is good to finally see this video. It is scary how some people cant even imagine eating chicken. Or being with friends. It makes me appreciate what I have and know

Why does China have to be such a (insert something here) about having buffer states? The only way to get rid of North Korea is to establish better relations with China. Or we could agree to get our troops out if N. Korea ever collapses (PLEASE DO). Now what to do with the refugees... and Iran... but if N. Korea goes down, what can Iran do? Complain? Be annoying and threaten more countries again? Issue a fatwa against the entire world?

It's difficult to fathom what that man has seen and lived through. To not understand the concept of love for most of your life, or turn in your own mother and brother for the sake of a satisfying meal is astonishing and difficult for me to comprehend. While so many people don't even know that this is happening, so many people do- and I believe that this knowledge embodies responsibility for action to be taken to stop this inhumane torture and cold-blooded murder.
