Summer update

Wow, I can't believe I have to go back to work in just 3 weeks. Like most of you I am wondering where did my summer go?

Some of you are about to start college in a few weeks while others of you will return for another year at THS. Time is really starting to fly.

I've been biking. A lot. However, I'm actually going to make a foray into the wilderness this weekend. My friend and I are going backpacking around Mt. Adams. I hear it's spectacular up there. I'm really looking forward to it. I can't wait to eat my freeze dried spaghetti with meat sauce. Yum!

For those pupils who are returning to THS this school year, please stop by and say hello.

peace

Hi Mr. Carlisle. Just thought I'd say hi. Has your summer been good? I can't believe it's almost over. I have band camp starting next week and that lasts for two weeks and then school again. Are you getting some more biking in?

Wow, I hope you have a good time backpacking!! That sounds like a lot of fun, peacefull too.
Just what you need before going back to work.=]
Its okay about the math situation, it cant hurt. If anything, I might be able to bring my GPA up more because of it.
So, I am almost definately going to come up to Oregon for Tigard's graduation this year, so when I do, I'll be sure to come visit you.=]

Backpacking sounds like fun Carlisle. I'm sure you'll have a good time. The dried spaghetti sounds delicious too! ha ha.

Well I'm off to school in about two weeks. I'll definitely keep you updated on how my college life is going since I start school about a month before everyone else I know.

Some of the lunch crew gang and I were in your neighborhood today and we called to see if you wanted to get some ice cream. But sadly we got no answer. We thought you were probably out biking on the town.

Wassup my nerds?

Lindsey,

Summer's great. Too short as always. Sorry about band camp, but it's back to the grind for all of us real soon. On the bright side, you're a SENIOR!!

Nicole,

Can't wait to see you at graduation!

Thomas,

You should call before you come over!! I was probably on a long bike ride. Sorry. I would like to do that before school starts for all of us soon.

Ha ha sorry Carlisle! It was just a bright idea we thought of then. But we would all love to grab some ice cream or something another time before school starts.

I currently have no job anymore. I quit the theatre. My last day is tomorrow! Yay. I quite because I have school in about two weeks and I need to start getting ready for that. So I am very free for the next two weeks.

When you get back from backpacking you should let us know what your schedule is like so we can get together.

Okay, well I forgot that JJ and Kelsey were going to California on Monday so we will have to wait until they get back. I believe that they get back the 19th, so if we get together after that will that work for you?

Mdoub!?!?!? How's it going? Good to hear from you. I did my backpacking adventure last weekend. Did 32 miles around Mt. Adams. Beautiful stuff. No accidents to report, however, my feet are still recovering from the hike.

Get ready to work your butt off for a half-credit elective this semester! It's going to be challenging.

Well, I made it through week one of band camp. One more week to go. On a brighter side, as of Thursday, I am now 17. By the way, how did your backpacking trip go?

Lindsey,

Congrats on completing week one of le band camp!

Backpacking was great. Incredibly beautiful up around Mt. Adams. We are truly blessed in the Northwest to have such amazing places near by.

Unfortunately my feet are still recovering from the hike. My big, bulky, leather hiking boots did a number on my feet. Needless to say, I won't be using those boots for hiking anymore.

I will probably be at THS this Thursday. Maybe I will see you around.

Shelton,

WHA!?!?!? I can't believe that. I went to their webpage today and read their statment. I'm really bummed about that. At least I saw them in concert last year.

I'm slowly but surely getting back into school mode. How are you doing? When do you head down to Eugene?
