Hey Carlisle.
I don't usually post, but I just thought that I would this time. So... yeah.

Wuzzup?

Dr. Carlisle.

Is your 3rd block class really as bad as you say it is? I'm going to be in it second semester and I don't know if I want to be if they are the way you say they are. 2nd block owns. We're amazing, and they're taking me away from it. I blame the government.

Chris.

The 3rd block class owns the hizz-ouse. You have absolutely no idea how cool we are. Mr. Carlisle always tells us how we're the coolest class. Ever.

Hey Carlisle. Back me up on this one.

Hmmm, sounds like someone might be slightly two faced? 2nd block FTW!

MRH,

Run. Now.

CHRIS,

You are going to be in third period next semester!?!? That's some great news. Seriously. They're not a bad class, just too quiet. I also suspect there's not much reading going on sometimes.

I can't wait to have your enthusiasm and energy in there. Bring it!

Carlisle.

Give us a break! We're trying to be more exciting and all that good stuff.

Matthew Ryan Humphrey,

Your class has their moments, however, it's too quiet. You should come to second period when you get a chance. Whole differnt vibe and energy in that class. I suspect part of the problem may be a lack of reading in your class. However, I have something in store to change that.

John Lee,

Your comment made laugh out loud. Are you saying "yay!" because Chris is leaving the class next semester or do you simply like a class war?

Is it a good thing that is in store or bad?

I guess that depends on if we read...

i said yay just for fun, but now that you brought it up, this class war thingy is pretty interesting, o and by the way, the reading for tonight is sooo dry that i almost passed out becuase of dehydration.
if chris bell leaves, then our class would be less noisy but not by that much. The problem about him leaving is that my number will change.....again

ps. why waste your time spelling laugh out loud when you can use LOL...hahaha i never seen anybody spell out lol before on a blog

Ok... Umm... I don't know what you're saying about how 3rd block is great. 2nd would own you at anything. We're like gods. All of us. Except Nizar. He's just Nizar. Yes I'm going to be in 3rd, my schedule couldn't fit Spanish 5 in because there's only one class and its 2nd block. Oh well. I'll bring the standard of awesome up for the class when I get in there.

John,

You're hilarious. I'm not a super-techie so LOL is not really part of my lexicon. Look that word up.

Yes, I know the reading is dry. Reading about history is not always fun. That's part of the program. Sorry. I think you will start to like the readings as we get to material that you guys are more interested in.

Blogger Mr. Carlisle said...

MRH,

It will be bad for people not doing the reading. I'm going to put some more sting into the reading quizzes. However, if people do better on the next quiz I may delay this tactic.

Chris,

No personal attacks here in the blogosphere please.

I think you will be a good spark for third period.

Okay,

I'm headed to my couch. I will check the Internets later before I retire for the evening. Besides John, I hope y'all are reading tonight.

Haha the blogosphere! I didn't mean it to be a personal attack. I just simply meant to say that 2nd block is amazing.
Lexicon is an awesome word. It sounds like some exotic sports car. Too bad its definition isn't very cool...

Hahah, yea... My mom drives a 2006 Lexicon-LS6 GT... Oh and Mr. Carlisle I do believe that "internets" is correctly spelled with a z. Add that to your lexicon.

I think if your history classes were members of a dysfunctional family, period 2 would be the loudmouth rebel punk who drives a beat down 1979 Camaro, and period 3 would be the introvert child that is secretly beaten by their father (that is you) and is scared to do anything, in fear that it might send you into a drunken rage...

Kyle,

Your last comment is going in the carlislesclass.blogspot.com HALL OF FAME! Best comment on the blog ever!

Okay, I'm off to watch Frontline on OPB. Interesting documentary on the Veepee tonight.

Hahaha, I am grateful that such a prestigious honor has been bestowed upon my comment.

Oh, and I'm not sure about the class's mother... Maybe she died when they were really young, perhaps while giving birth to 3rd period, maybe that is why they are introvert, because they feel guilty. Perhaps thats the reason they are beaten and scored by their father and second period...

VeePee as in VP? as In Vice President? As in the that one Frontline called: The Dark Side?

Vice President Richard Cheney seized the initiative. He pushed to expand executive power, transform America's intelligence agencies and bring the war on terror to Iraq. But first he had to take on George Tenet's CIA for control over intelligence. (PBS website quote)

Is that the one?

BREAKING NEWS CARLISLE

Colbert has announced his run for presidency! In South Carolina no less! For both parties! Google search it, and pick from your most trusted source, though they all say about the same thing if not exactly... I would look into it more if it wasn't for the restrictive acts of Townzen... (Essay)

Hey Mr. Carlisle. I watched the documentary on PBS about Dick Cheney and his desire to expand executive power tonight. I find it scary what is being done in the name of national security. I was wondering if you watched it and if you did what your opinion on it was?

Hey Carlisle,
I am just informing you that I am spending my "day off" at Central library studying for your class. Oh yeah. I read the Federalist, you weren't exaggerating in class when you said it would take forever to read. I am actually looking forward to the textbook now, was this your plan?

Oh yeah. Second period ROCKS!

sPam,

Being at the library is good for you. Why didn't your folks come to conferences?? Caro and I were disappointed that we didn't get to meet your parents. Have a fun weekend and perhaps I will see you at the PSATs.

Carlisle,
They didn't come because I try to keep up the suspense for my teachers. Actually, I don't really know. My parents don't go because normally I stay on top of things. They trust me to keep them informed if I'm not doing well in a class.
You and Caro talk about me?

Yes. Have a great weekend Sam.
